For
some reason, Roger Berg’s detachment came to Long Phu, and we escorted them
-- towing their LSSC with a Boston Whaler on top -- through the heart of the
Mekong Delta to at least as far as Bac Lieu. While these pictures are taken
on a river, my strongest memory is miles of canals not much wider than the MSSC
twisting through rice paddies.
