Dan,
I wanted
to share some good news with you...the US Naval Air
Warfare Weapons Division has selected us, Maximum Thunder,
to build a Fast Attack Craft Target Boat (FACT Boat)! We
got the award mid December. I prepared and submitted the
bid just prior to Thanksgiving. The FACT Boat is
essentially the boat in the attached photo, without the
tower. The FACT will be capable of a 50 knot cruise
through 2-3 foot seas. It is 50 ft. long, 9 ft. wide,
powered with twin diesels coupled to sterndrives. We are
starting on the boat in February and will have it
completed in May sometime. I will forward more photos as
the build progresses.
